Dreamcatcher (드림캐쳐/DC/Deukae) is an unique 7 member K-pop girl group formed by Happyface Entertainment, Who consistently infuse pop with rock/metal instrumentals within all of their title tracks.
Their songs incorporate different genres blending rock/metal/synth sounds into the mix. Thus creating an unique blend of sound, which has become their signature. They're also known to produce dark/creepy concept, and their MVs are mostly story based, connecting one song to another.
On the other hand, their B-sides holds a HUGE variety of genres and experimental fusion creativity. Ballads, EDM, jazz, funk, reggae, hard metal/rock, just to name some. Their versatility seems infinite, as they continue to surprise us everytime they comeback with new songs.
Even the idols themselves show their creativity by taking part and getting credited for the composing, writing, choreographies of some of the songs too. They have also done numerous covers, adding their own twist to the songs, making it their own.

● Dreamcatcher (드림캐쳐) consists of 7 members: JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon.
● They debuted with the single album Nightmare.
● Each member represents a nightmare or fear.
● The group debuted on January 13, 2017, under Happyface Entertainment.
● They are currently under Dreamcatcher Company.
● Dreamcatcher was originally formed under the name MINX, consisting of five members: JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dami.
● They released their debut single "Why Did You Come to My Home?" on September 18, 2014.
● In December of the same year, they released the holiday single, "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", with girl group Dal Shabet.
● They made a comeback in July 2015, with the EP Love Shake! which was to be their last release as MINX.
● In November 2016, they announced that they were to re-debut in 2017 under the new name Dreamcatcher with the addition of two new members, Handong and Gahyeon.

NIGHTMARE series
- DC are cursed by a spider who was killed by one of them & became 7 Nightmares personifications, after which they try to escape (knowing the Dreamcatcher lore as a start would be good)
DYSTOPIA series
- A Trilogy about social/online toxicity...DC are guardian spirits of The Tree of Language who were awoken by the world's social/online toxicity, by which they retaliate and seek to achieve Utopia.
